Emergency booking fee
A flat fee on urgent, same-day call-outs. The exact amount depends on the time of day and how quickly a professional is needed, and is always shown before you confirm.
Worked example: a £120.00 job
- Job price agreed
- £120.00
- Host booking fee (5%)
- £6.00
- Host pays in total
- £126.00
- Professional commission (10%)
- £12.00
- Professional receives
- £108.00
An emergency call-out would add the emergency booking fee to the host total. Prices are in pounds sterling. Payments are processed securely by Stripe: the host authorises the total at booking, the money is held, and the balance is released to the professional after the host approves the completed work.
